RVR in the News and Forest Park 50K

A great write up about Hal Koerner and Rogue Valley Runners in today's Ashland Daily Tidings.

Check it out here!

This past weekend several RVR runners traveled north to Portland to run in the Forest Park 50 Kilometer Trail Run. So they did run...through rain, mud and misdirection (course markings were vandalized). Congratulations to both Chris Rennaker (who finished third overall in 4:29:28) and Carly Varner (finished 7th woman, 24th overall in 5:48:46).

Rennaker kicks it!

That's not what I remember the Zane Grey Finish line looking like - then again, I was a bit dehydrated.

Note to self....Don't run anymore Pacific Coast Trail Run sponsored events...

Nice run Carly, now time to step up to that 50 mile distance, Cheryl is one step ahead of ya, she finished the Squaw Peak 50 this past weekend, in a classic Utah Snowstorm!
